PS: Dear Mr Gatiss and Mr Moffat - you belong amongst the elite of contemporary tv screen writers. Yet I wish you had not projected your legal "system" on other nations. There is, in fact, no trial by jury in Germany, nor has there to my knowledge ever been. Considering there are few people like Sherlock out there it might be a real advantage not to have to rely on the average untrained mind but on trained legal minds to achieve justice.
